Aircraft Nose Art is a record of unique folk art inspired by the air combat spirit of WW I, WW II, the Korean War, and even the Gulf War. They were crude, lewd, & humorous.  The ideas for nose art comes from many sources and still lives on today.  Most of the nose art shown here comes from WW II, but we will add other war periods as we find them.
